Philosophy

OUR BELIEFS

We believe children learn and grow at their optimal level when their basic needs are satisfied. Abraham Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs is the philosophy we subscribe to in developing a well-rounded child. Children, especially young children have five basic needs which Maslow identifies in a hierarchical pyramid. At The Ashton Early Learning Center, we structure our teaching and learning to meet these needs.

·         Physiological

·         Safety Need

·         Belonging

·         Esteem

·         Self-Actualization

FAMILY INVOLVEMENT

Building Relationships with Family & Staff-

The family unit is very important to us. It is vital that parents and teachers communicate on a regular basis about the progress of their child. Our goal is to collaborate on a daily and consistent basis to ensure we are meeting your needs and the needs of your child.
